Guardian is a small but rapidly expanding business with an international client-base offers perhaps one of the most challenging and fascinating positions in Wales for the support and on-going development of specialist, low volume, precision downhole electro-mechanical instrumentation for the worldwide oil and gas industry.  We are seeking an experienced Sustaining Engineer to work closely with the production and development departments to support the existing range of Guardian products, to develop specific solutions to client needs based around those products and to develop the sophisticated in-house test capabilities and equipment to support our programme of continuous improvement.  Guardian is located in a brand new, purpose-built facility close to the bustling capital city of Cardiff, and is a short drive from the Brecon Beacons, the Cambrian mountains and the delightful Heritage Coast. 

Reporting to the Technical Director and operating within a small but growing technical group which encourages individual initiative and an entrepreneurial outlook, the appointee will contribute significantly to the success of the business through support of our clients in their use of our existing product range, will develop specific technical solutions to clients requirements outside the capability of those existing products and will support operations in a program of continuous improvement
