Due to the success of the 2010 International Perforating Symposium held in North America, an Asia-Pacific organizing committee has formed to hold a regional symposium early 2011. The two-day Perforating Symposium will focus on innovation and "new" technology and feature forum session presentations with speakers and session chairmen from the operator, service provider, manufacturing and software communities. There will also be a poster session followed by a reception to provide opportunity to network throughout the regional perforating community. The Asia-Pacific region includes (but is not limited to) Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, far-east Russian Federation, Thailand and Vietnam.
